Agreement to Our Terms

Welcome to Code Red Garage Doors. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services throughout Columbus, Ohio, and surrounding areas. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, please refrain from using our services.

 

Service Agreement Terms

The service agreement between Code Red Garage Doors and the client begins once a quote is approved.

This agreement applies to all services outlined in the estimate, including:

  • Garage Door Installation
  • Garage Door Repair
  • Spring Replacement
  • Opener Installation
  • Panel Replacement
  • Emergency Garage Door Services
  • Commercial Overhead Doors
  • Gate Installation and Repair

Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information regarding the garage door’s condition.
  • Ensure the service area is clear and accessible.
  • Disclose any pre-existing issues prior to service.

Failure to provide accurate information may result in additional charges or service delays. Code Red Garage Doors is not responsible for undisclosed pre-existing conditions.


Warranty and Guarantee Policies

Code Red Garage Doors guarantees its workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of service completion (Verify).

Warranty Coverage Includes:

  • Defects in workmanship
  • Repairs or adjustments necessary due to service-related issues

Warranty Exclusions:

  • Misuse, abuse, or negligence
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by accidents or natural disasters
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Manufacturer defects covered under separate warranties

Manufacturer warranties apply to parts such as springs, openers, and garage door components. We assist clients in processing warranty claims when applicable.

To initiate a warranty claim, clients must notify us in writing within 30 days of discovering the issue.


Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Free Cancellation: Up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
  • Late Cancellation Fee: A fee of $75 may apply for cancellations made within 24 hours (Verify).

Refund Policy

  • Full refunds are issued if services cannot be completed due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
  • Completed services are eligible for refunds only if they fail to meet agreed specifications or fall under warranty coverage.

Clients may also reschedule services at no additional cost when necessary.


Limitation of Liability

Code Red Garage Doors’ liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service rendered.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of use, profits, or business interruptions
  • Damage resulting from undisclosed pre-existing conditions

Our company maintains general liability insurance to protect against claims involving property damage or bodily injury caused by negligence (Verify).


Privacy and Data Protection

We respect and protect your personal information. Data collected—including names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses—is used solely for service delivery and communication.

  • We do not sell or rent personal information.
  • Data is shared only when required by law or necessary to provide services.
  • Clients may request access, corrections, or deletion of their information.

Payment Terms

Code Red Garage Doors accepts the following payment methods:

  • Cash
  • Checks
  • Major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)

Payment Policies

  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Deposits may be required for large installations.
  • Late payments may incur interest charges of 1.5% per month (Verify).
  • Clients are responsible for legal and collection costs in the event of unpaid balances.

Detailed invoices are provided for all services performed.


Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiations.

If unresolved, disputes may proceed to:

  • Mediation or arbitration
  • Legal proceedings governed by the laws of the State of Ohio

All legal actions shall be brought in the courts of Franklin County, Ohio.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Code Red Garage Doors and the client and supersede any prior agreements.


Modifications to These Terms

Code Red Garage Doors reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Clients are encouraged to review this page periodically for updates.
